Fubao is blessed with a lucky mascot constitution. After being picked up from a ruined temple by the Niu family, she brought them countless blessings. However, because the Niu family had a son of their own, they began to resent Fubao, withholding her food and scolding and beating her every day. During one such beating, the third son of the Zhao family saw her, firmly shielded her, and brought her back to his home. Since the eldest son and his wife of the Zhao family had no children, Fubao became the child of the eldest son from then on. The entire family showered Fubao with all kinds of affection, and Fubao's lucky constitution continuously improved the family's life. While others struggled to get enough to eat, the Zhao family ate meat at every single meal. From then on, the Zhao family lived a life envied by everyone, while the Niu family was left full of regret.
