Set against the backdrop of modern corporate warfare in a wealthy family, this drama tells the story of Wen Tang, a top mercenary known as Phantom, who disguises herself as a fragile and innocent fiancee to infiltrate the Lu family in order to protect Lu Siyan, the head of the Lu family who saved her when they were teenagers. Meanwhile, Lu Siyan, having been ambushed and injured in a car crash by a mole three years ago, feigns paralysis in his legs while plotting secretly. As the two engage in a mutual deception and test each other, they join hands to weed out the villains coveting the core Longyuan Project, while unraveling their hidden, mutual unrequited love, staging an urban dual-redemption legend that combines sweet romance and revenge.
