Two girls who won national martial arts championships in their past lives time-traveled back to a rural village in Northeast China in 1988. Cuihua and Xiulan fought side by side in the ring and received gold medals on the podium in their past lives. Opening their eyes, they find themselves lying back on a seventeen-year-old earthen kang, with the north wind howling outside the window and a red family planning slogan pasted on the wall. An aunt walks in pushing the door carrying two apples—this life, being dragged to a blind date with a tractor driver at seventeen? Impossible. Thus, the two best friends sing in harmony, and their sharp tongues are even more nimble than Eight-Diagram Palm.
