Modern youth Shen Hao accidentally obtains the opportunity to travel back and forth between two worlds. He transports modern supplies to the disaster-stricken Da Qian country, exchanging them back for grain and medicinal materials. This resolves the plight of both places while he steadily manages his own business in modern times. Amidst the disaster year, he digs canals to guide water, settles refugees, provides medical care and delivers medicine, weathering the plague and famine together with the villagers until Bailu Village gradually becomes a place of peace and dwelling. Relying not on clever acquisition, but solely on diligence and integrity to establish his enterprise, he ultimately carves out a path of mutual support and mutual fulfillment between modern and ancient times.
