Having crossed over, Li Yang enters the Xuantian Sword Sect, fierce and resolute in killing with an extremely pure heart of Dao. While escorting his junior sister Shen Lu'er, who bears a demonic physique, on her escape, he sees through the truth of her abusing demonic nature for indiscriminate slaughter. Braving the pressure from his master, he executes her, thereby forging a mortal enmity with the Demon Lord. The sect lays out a plan to encircle and annihilate the Demon Lord, and Li Yang joins the team heading to Yongning County. Along the way, he slashes evils and eliminates demons, but accidentally kills the mortal incarnation of an ancient immortal giant. Although he gains the opportunity of Nirvana and his strength surges, he also provokes the hatred of prodigies from various sides. Disguised under his fellow disciple identity, he steps into a perilous secret realm, forging a path of his own as a sword cultivator amidst a storm of blade light and blood fire.
