In 1980, heavy snow sealed Changbai Mountain's Qinghe Village. Villager Sun Yu fell into plight due to debt and faced harassment by others. Li Shan, misunderstood by everyone, stood out and made a three-day promise. No one knew he used to be a scout and possessed extraordinary skills. He stepped into the mountain through snow, legally gathered mountain goods, raised funds, and helped Sun Yu tide over the difficulty. Lawless elements refused to give up, maliciously suppressing prices and setting contract traps in an attempt to obstruct villagers from making a living. Li Shan calmly responded, united the neighbors, exposed the bad schemes, took the lead in founding a mountain goods cooperative, led villagers to rely on mountain forest resources to achieve prosperity through diligence, guarded neighborhood peace, and forged a path of industrial prosperity on the ice sheet.
