A mountain village midwife saves a white-haired mother wolf experiencing a difficult labor. Grateful for the kindness, the mother wolf leads the midwife to find a warm valley hidden with wild mulberries and wild silkworms. The midwife does not keep this opportunity to herself, inviting the villagers to raise silkworms and reel silk together, making a living relying on wild silk. The neighbors work together with one heart to manage the warm valley, but it attracts the covetous eyes of a rich merchant, and everyone joins hands to protect their shared home and hard-earned livelihood.
