Tong Cheng is the heir of the Shao family and top medical expert Dr. C. To avoid her biological parents forcing her into a marriage, she mistakenly and blindly enters into a flash marriage with Pei Yanheng, the CEO of the Pei family. Pei Yanheng's original arranged-marriage partner runs away, and the two sign a one-year contract marriage. Tong Cheng hides her identity and joins the Pei family, while Pei Yanheng searches bitterly for Dr. C without knowing she is right before his eyes.
