Chu Suifeng, the Demon Lord of the Immortal Realm, is betrayed by someone while undergoing the divine tribulation. After dying, his soul returns to the body of an eighteen-year-old playboy. The regrets of his previous life, when his family was destroyed and his loved ones were brutally killed, are etched deep in his heart. Armed with the supreme cultivation technique, the Chaos Creation Art, he is reborn and returns. Those who once bullied him at school, the family traitor who orchestrated the car accident, and the prominent clans that colluded with foreign enemies all become targets for his reckoning. He establishes an elite security force and wins billions' worth of jade through stone gambling. He befriends Fu Yunyan of the Dragon Group and Mei Xueji, the queen of intelligence, and subdues a pair of demon-clan sisters who serve as medicinal subjects. While protecting his parents and his mute younger sister, Chu Lian'er, he tears apart a hypocritical engagement and thwarts the schemes of the Zou family and Japan's Blood Sakura organization, stirring up turmoil among Jinling's great clans.
