Li Muxue, a medicine slave in the Immortal Realm, had her blood drawn for thirteen years because she possessed an ethereal spiritual root. The Demon Emperor, Ye Qingcang, rescued her and took her as his disciple in the Demon Realm. With her master's unwavering protection, Su Mei's affection, and Yao Mo's guidance, she gradually regains her dignity and wins the favor of the Sword Ancestor, Li. To seize her spiritual root, the Immortal Realm repeatedly targets her: it condemns her through a decree of the Heavenly Dao, lures her with forged keepsakes supposedly left by her parents, and traps her in a deadly Immortal-Burying Thunder Domain. Longing for family affection, she is hurt again and again. Ultimately, she transforms from a timid medicine slave into the little princess of the Demon Realm, admired throughout the Three Realms. At the Ascension Platform, she declares, 'My path is mine to decide.'
