Wuxin devoted herself wholeheartedly to seeking the Dao, severed worldly ties, and fell under Heaven's punishment. Five hundred years later, she is reborn from the ashes and returns to the void, only to discover that the four disciples she personally trained have been bewitched by a woman from another world who arrived with a system. Her fellow disciples turn against one another, and they abandon the Great Dao. Determined to discipline her unruly disciples, Wuxin unexpectedly reunites with an old acquaintance who was once mortal but has now ascended to the rank of Divine Venerable. The otherworldly newcomer stirs up trouble and urges the Divine Venerable to eliminate Wuxin. At the critical moment, he confesses softly, 'Kill me, and use that to prove your true feelings.'
