Xingwan Village suffers a severe drought. To save his ailing mother and fellow villagers, Shen Yanchuan follows the guidance of the Golden-Feathered Phoenix to repair an old wooden ladder, climbs into the clouds to find the Black-Horned Immortal Spirit, and obtains the plantain divine fan. He saves grain seeds, seeks water veins, leads two villages in clearing channels and chiseling rocks, resolves disputes over water distribution, and also urges Qi Wancang to open the granary and send grain. When the torrential rain arrives, everyone guards the dam to divert the flood. The divine fan turns into an ordinary plantain leaf, but the irrigation channels remain. The two villages jointly build a granary and establish rules, carving out a viable path into the fields with their own hands.
