Poor Young Man Returns Home To Lead Two Villages To Wealth
When agricultural university top student Jiang Yu is on a blind date, he is despised by Su Man for having no house and no car, but her best friend Lin Xiu appreciates Jiang Yu's down-to-earth nature and drive, exhausting her savings to help him return home to contract barren mountains to plant waxberries. After three years of bumper harvest, Jiang Yu wants to lead Dafang Village to prosperity, but the villagers are tempted by corrupt merchant Chen Kai's high-price lure, abandoning cooperation and randomly picking fruits, leading to damaged quality. After Chen Kai's waxberry incident is exposed, Dafang Village's industry collapses, and the villagers repent and ask for help. Jiang Yu lets go of past grudges, vindicates the waxberries with authoritative testing, holds a picking festival, and also helps Dayuan Village build an ecological orchard and dredge the freight avenue, ultimately realizing common prosperity for the two villages.
