After Family Division, All the Animals in the Mountains Come to Work for Me
Demobilized soldier Lu Qingshan returns to his hometown with his wife and daughter, only to suffer from his parents' favoritism during the family division, ending up with just a leaky thatched shed. To find medicine for his feverish daughter, he ventures into the mountains in the rain, accidentally saves a white snake, and acquires the Mountain God Pearl, henceforth gaining the ability to command all the beasts in the mountain. From the white snake searching for medicine, the black bear hauling cargo, monkeys foraging, to wolves patrolling the mountains, Lu Qingshan relies on his animal partners to step-by-step shake off poverty, ranging from gathering herbs and selling mountain goods to establishing an ecological estate. Just as life is thriving, mine owner Qian Dewang destroys the mountain with sewage and arson for profit. Lu Qingshan unites with the villagers and beasts to guard the mountain and protect the water, ultimately exposing the evil deeds and returning tranquility to the green mountains.
