On the Second Day of Recognizing Kin, the True Daughter Flipped the Table
The wrongly swapped Gu Wantang was raised in the vegetable market by Grandma Zhou. On the second day after returning to the Gu family to reconnect, her biological mother Lin Sujin forced her to take the blame for a drunk driving hit-and-run committed by the fake daughter Gu Shiyi, a rising star celebrity. She pretended to agree while secretly recording audio, and joined forces with Xu Xingchuan, the family member of the injured person, to gather evidence of Gu Shiyi's multiple drunk driving incidents and the Gu family's cover-up and silencing efforts. In the end, justice triumphed over greed, and conscience reawakened family affection. Gu Shiyi went to prison and the Gu family collapsed; Gu Wantang brought Grandma Zhou to open a wonton shop, settling down with Xu Xingchuan on the old street in West City.
