On the Branch, Shen Heng Knows the Ashes: Season 1
After transmigrating into the body of a frail princess destined to die, Shen Heng binds herself to a system in hopes of surviving. At a palace banquet, she stakes everything and publicly asks to marry Xun Zhuo, the cold and aloof Imperial Preceptor who is the most dangerous man in the novel! Thinking that winning the heart of this unattainable man will be an impossible challenge, she cleverly schemes and steadily closes in on him. Little does she know that this seemingly heartless and desireless noble powerbroker has already fallen for her, reserving all his special affection and indulgence for her alone. Facing political conspiracies between two nations, a struggle for the throne, and the fated deaths awaiting them both, the alluring yet sickly princess joins forces with the tragic yet formidable Imperial Preceptor, using themselves as bait to break through their seemingly inescapable predicament. From an intense game of push and pull to standing together through life and death, two souls destined to perish fight their way to survival through a sweeping blizzard, defying fate and rewriting their destinies!
