Yu Daiying, the commandery princess of Prince Dingnan's household, is ordered to travel to the capital to celebrate the emperor's birthday. Outsiders assume she is being sent there as a hostage, but who would have guessed that she would spend the journey eating, drinking, and enjoying the show, acting obedient while stirring up trouble and turning the capital upside down? Alongside Su Jinqi, the sickly yet scheming eldest grandson of the emperor, she turns the political turmoil at court into a grand spectacle of gossip for the entire populace.
