The Imperfect Victim of Marriage
Meng Yuan, a group manager, discovers that his wife, Jiang Yao, has been having an inappropriate relationship with senior executive Dong Shaojie, shattering the happy family they once had. He joins forces with Bai Yiyi, Dong Shaojie's equally betrayed wife, to devise a plan. On their wedding anniversary, Meng Yuan brings people along to catch the pair in the act. Jiang Yao destroys the evidence and fabricates a story, causing Dong Shaojie to come under investigation. Taking advantage of the situation, Bai Yiyi secures an asset agreement. Together, they expose Dong Shaojie's corruption and other crimes, sending him to prison. Under relentless pressure, Jiang Yao eventually suffers a mental breakdown and is taken to the hospital. The story serves as a warning to everyone to never cross the boundaries of the law.
