Fresh out of university and already unemployed, Xia Qing returns to her village in disgrace to take up farming. But then she discovers that her snacks and drinks keep mysteriously disappearing. It turns out that the other end of her space is connected to a post-apocalyptic wasteland overrun by zombies. Su Yu, a legendary soldier king in the apocalypse who survives after finding half a box of biscuits and half a bottle of water, becomes her trading partner across time and space. Xia Qing supplies food, medicine, and modern industrial equipment to stabilize the front lines of the apocalypse, while Su Yu repays her with rare resources, helping her build her initial fortune in the modern world.
