Once the Abandoned Son, Now the Top Student
After Gu Zheng becomes the province's top science-track student, his biological mother, Fang Lihua, appears with her stepson, hoping to capitalize on his reputation and make up for the past. Gu Zheng refuses to acknowledge her because she forgot his birthday and looked down on his adoptive father. Fang Lihua joins forces with her husband, Qian Licheng, to fabricate the appearance of financial support and edit an interview to smear Gu Zhiqiang. Gu Zheng obtains the complete video as evidence and publicly sets the record straight, defending his father's dignity.
