Cultivating Immortality with Technology: I Use Science to Deter the Heavenly Dao
Su Ran, a modern special-effects artist, travels to the world of cultivation. Without a spiritual root and burdened with an enormous debt in spirit stones, he discovers that cultivators cannot understand science. He makes a living by playing the villain in the cultivation world, using physical props such as air cannons, liquid nitrogen, and holographic technology. Unexpectedly, his ingenious devices win over numerous top cultivators and earn him a large following. As he gradually investigates the world's secrets, he uncovers the truth that the Nine Provinces are a high-dimensional reality show and the Heavenly Dao is a control system. He rallies forces from both righteous and evil factions, uses scientific weapons to breach the core of the Heavenly Dao, and assembles a team to break the world's script.
