Where Clouds Are Deep and the Place Is Unknown, There Is a Field, Part One
This is a heartwarming story about kindness and gratitude. To fulfill his gravely ill mother's wish, impoverished scholar Lin Wenxuan asks farmer's daughter Su Yunxi to pretend to be his fiancée. Kindhearted Su Yunxi agrees without asking for payment and devotedly cares for Lin's mother until her condition improves. She also unexpectedly discovers a fertile plain shrouded in mist behind the mountain. Without holding anything back, she leads the entire village in reclaiming wasteland and teaching agricultural techniques, turning barren land into a granary. As they work side by side, the two gradually fall in love. Their pretend relationship becomes real, bringing them a happy romance and a hopeful new beginning for the entire village.
