Jiang Yu, a discharged soldier, is framed by his ex-girlfriend and saddled with 750,000 yuan in debt, forcing him to return to the tidal flats left by his ancestors to make a living. By chance, he rescues a beaver that speaks Sichuan dialect and gains the ability to communicate with marine animals. Beavers, sea otters, walruses, sea turtles, and seals—one adorable animal companion after another joins him, helping him livestream tidal-flat foraging, find rare seafood, and protect marine ecosystems, while gradually uncovering the truth behind wealthy-family conspiracies and his debt. As his former lover and business rivals close in on him, Jiang Yu teams up with his animal companions to turn the tables against all odds and reclaim everything that belongs to him.
