Jingwei travels with the ring system through time to the Great Jing Dynasty, single-mindedly wishing only to earn a reward and find a way to return to her homeland. The Prince of Jing, wielding power over the court and the land, has long been immersed in yearning for his departed old friend. Again and again, he mistakes Jingwei for her, originally intending it as placing his thoughts on the old friend, yet day-in and day-out living together, unwittingly falls for the Jingwei before his eyes.
