Chu Xiao, a university student from southern China, travels alone to the north to visit her boyfriend, only to be dumped. By chance, she meets Huo Tingxiao, who has returned to his hometown for the Lunar New Year. With his help, Chu Xiao temporarily settles down, and the two gradually get to know each other after agreeing to pretend to be a couple. The lively life at the forestry camp, the care of friends and family, and the differences between northern and southern lifestyles fill their time together with warmth and laughter. As they face troubles from past relationships, romantic misunderstandings, and family expectations, they gradually come to understand each other, build trust through sincere companionship, and find the courage to face their true feelings.
