Top star Li Wan is set up by a rival at a celebration banquet, and accidentally has an encounter with the mysterious man Situ Yanci, prompting her to hire him as her private assistant. Seemingly soft, cute, and clingy, the 'toy boy assistant' is actually the incognito crown prince of the Situ Group. The two side-by-side deal with the serial framings and business suppression from father and daughter Bai Chengyuan and Bai Chuyuan, while Li Wan step-by-step investigates the truth about her mother's company being usurped back then, and Situ Yanci silently paves the way and escorts her from the shadows. After going through misunderstandings of identity being revealed and the turbulence of overturning an old case, the two join hands to reclaim justice, and finally Li Wan accepts the proposal, settling career and love both.
