Having returned to the workplace after taking six months of maternity leave, Shen Ning is met not with the position promised to be kept for her, but with a written notice transferring her to the front desk. Liu Nan, a subordinate who used to follow behind her calling her "Sister Ning", has stolen her position and her clients, and even publicly pours coffee on her face, mocking her for having "a smell of milk all over, and becoming stupid for three years after giving pregnancy". The favoritism of superiors, the silence of colleagues, and the workplace malice toward pregnant and postpartum women force her to take off her work badge on the spot from this dry well; she will no longer stay. Armed with ten years of solid public relations skills, Shen Ning founds the "Ning Huo" studio.
