You Wait for Lin Shu in the Capital's Unending Snow to Return
Lin Shu, a translation major at a prestigious university, becomes a private tutor for the youngest son of the Shen family, where she meets Shen Yanqing, a man wielding immense power and influence. Despite their vastly different social backgrounds, the two gradually fall in love as they spend more time together. She becomes captivated by his thoughtful protection, yet also comes to recognize the constraints of elite matchmaking in Beijing, the disdain of those around them, and the seemingly insurmountable gap between their social classes. Her best friend's unexpected serious injury, family power struggles, and Zhou Junyao's engagement standing in their way follow one after another. An accident eventually causes their conflicts to erupt. Clear-minded, Lin Shu refuses to remain trapped in a dependent relationship. After enduring emotional turmoil and misunderstandings, she chooses to walk away. Amid the snowstorms of Beijing and the whirlpool of wealth and power, the two endure heartbreak and personal growth, waiting for a reunion between equals.
