Architectural designer Shen Nian and Fu Siheng were in a relationship and collaborated for three years, with all seventeen projects completed by her, yet she was long deprived of her authorship credit. After the breakup, Fu Siheng had newcomer Zhou Wanwan replace her, occupy her workstation, and request the raw drawings. Shen Nian preserved her creative evidence, founded "Yinian Design", and publicly released the metadata and creation records at the biennale, reclaiming her work's authorship and career, while completely parting ways with the ex who viewed her as a replaceable tool.
