Myths severed, the netherworld collapsed, heaven and earth shrouded by turbid qi, evil spirits run rampant. Zhang Fan transmigrated to Great Qian, becoming a low-ranking night watchman of the Ghost Suppression Bureau, awakening the Merit System. As long as he transcends evil spirits, he can gain merit and infinitely deduce martial arts! Even more outrageously, while others face a life-or-death nine-to-one chance when encountering unkillable eerie entities, he directly contracted immortal eerie entities as odd-job workers. By day, he is a low-profile surviving low-ranking colonel; by night, he transforms into the mastermind behind the scenes, making eerie entities frantically work for him to earn merit.
