Xu Shixi suffers a bizarre car accident and discovers upon waking that it was connected to a family inheritance dispute involving her uncles. To keep them at bay and secretly delay their attempts to seize the family fortune, she pretends to have lost her memory. Unexpectedly, her ex-husband, whom she has been separated from for four years, suddenly shows up with their marriage certificate, insisting that they are still husband and wife.
