The Ends of the Earth Gazing Out For An Old Friend's Letter
College student Shen Lingyi and social youth Zhao Qilin have been in love for three years. Little did they expect that on the eve of their marriage proposal, Zhao Qilin would suddenly be dragged away to prison. To avoid affecting Shen Lingyi's future, Zhao Qilin falsely claimed he had fallen in love with another woman and drove Shen Lingyi out of his home, causing Shen Lingyi to hate him for the next fifteen years. Fifteen years later, Zhao Qilin has become a formidable figure in the business world, while Shen Lingyi lives in hardship and must take care of her paralyzed mother. By chance, Shen Lingyi rescues the heavily injured Zhao Qilin, and the two are reunited. However, a woman claiming to be Zhao Qilin's wife targets Shen Lingyi everywhere, not only overturning Shen Lingyi's barbecue stand but also severely beating the young woman.
