Wang Jiayao has terminal stomach cancer, with no hope of recovery. He is forced to participate in the cryogenic preservation program run by Huaxia Perpetual Motion Group. The original plan was for him to remain asleep for five to ten years, but when he awakens, he finds himself in the year 2126, one hundred years in the future. Before he can enjoy his new life, he is caught up in an AI awakening crisis that threatens humanity. However, the shareholder status granted to him by the group gives him the ultimate authority to decide whether intelligent robots can break free from the Three Laws of Robotics, allowing him to seek a slim chance of survival while caught between humanity and intelligent machines.
