Lin Jing is a capital city where strange tales and supernatural occurrences are nothing unusual. Ling Zhimo cannot stand by when she sees injustice and rushes to help, wielding a branch, only to be knocked down and forced to her knees by a giant of a man. Just as jasmine blossoms release their sweet fragrance, Li Hengyu descends from the sky with his sword and kills the giant in one strike. Their eyes meet.
