Me and My Childhood Sweetheart
This drama follows Liu Heng and his childhood sweetheart, Wang Xue. When Liu Heng's mother falls ill and is hospitalized, he desperately needs money for her surgery, so he travels to the city to find Wang Xue and ask for her help. The two grew up together and have been lovers for nine years. However, unbeknownst to Liu Heng, Wang Xue has secretly gotten engaged to the chairman's son, Minghao. When Liu Heng arrives, Wang Xue's lies are exposed. Even the award-winning work she previously claimed as her own was actually created entirely by Liu Heng. Furious, the chairman fires Wang Xue and instead recognizes Liu Heng's talent. Unwilling to accept her downfall, Wang Xue turns to Wang Ling, the chairman's sworn enemy, and steals Liu Heng's original work once again, setting the stage for a new chapter in their story.
