My Perfect Wife, Hiding a Basement in the House
Lin Chuan has a seemingly happy family. His wife, Xu Man, has severe germophobia, spending an hour each time she uses the restroom, which Lin Chuan simply assumes is constipation. His close friend, surgical director Zhao Lei, comes over as a guest, flees in terror after visiting the home's bathroom, and urges Lin Chuan to call the police immediately, only to subsequently drown mysteriously under a bridge, clutching an Ultraman sticker belonging to Maodou. The police inspect the home but find nothing at all. Past suspicious points emerge one after another, and Lin Chuan gradually perceives the hideous truth beneath his wife's disguise. This glamorous home conceals an underground cell, and Xu Man has been conducting forbidden experiments all along. Trapped in mortal danger, Lin Chuan tries his utmost to rescue his son Maodou.
