A wolf raised artificially by humans causes a nuisance in the city, triggering neighbor disputes. The protagonist has no choice but to take it to the grassland for rewilding. This wolf is overly reliant on humans and does not understand how to hunt or avoid danger. Everyone restrains their emotions, accompanying it to learn survival skills, evade poachers and animal traps. Through hardships, it gradually learns the instincts of a wolf and struggles to integrate into the pack. Two years later, it grows into the wolf king protecting the group, bringing injured wolf cubs to places accessible by humans for help, yet always maintaining a boundary with humans. The protagonist understands that true love is not possession, chooses not to disturb, and watches it go as it completely belongs to the vast grassland.
