My Girlfriend Actually Saved Me
Chen Xiaolu makes a bet to confess his love, accidentally tricking the impoverished student Tang Jiujiu into becoming his girlfriend. To get out of it, he deliberately borrows a thousand bucks to force a breakup, only to see her pull out all her crumpled cash. Driven crazy by regret, he desperately searches for the life-saving benefactor of seventeen years, only to find it is her. Old bamboo slips and an old scar on the back of the neck uncover the truth: the little girl who delivered steamed buns in the firewood room back then has always kept "Chen Lu" hidden by her side. How will the absurd bet end, and can seventeen years of grace turn into sincere love?
