Jiang Baihe, the heir to the Jiang Group, was blinded in an accident engineered by her matrilocal husband, Lu Cheng. Coveting the Jiang family's inheritance for a long time, Lu Cheng secretly colluded with Jiang Manman, the Jiang family's adopted daughter, falsely claiming that Jiang Manman's biological father was killed by the Jiang family, and inciting her hatred toward the Jiang family. The two carried on a clandestine affair and repeatedly plotted against Jiang Baihe, attempting to seize the Jiang family's enterprise. In reality, Jiang Baihe had long since regained her sight; she chose to feign blindness to endure and bide her time, collecting evidence with the assistance of Lin Zhou, the adopted son of Jiang Weidong. In the end, Jiang Baihe tore off her disguise to launch a counterattack, exposing Lu Cheng's lies and all their crimes. Lu Cheng was sentenced according to the law, and Jiang Manman came to her senses, successfully safeguarding the Jiang family foundation alongside Jiang Baihe.
