Snow-Abandoned Girl Rises to Become Top Scholar
At the age of four, Lin Zhaozhao was cruelly abandoned in the snow by son-preferring parents, but her father's ex-wife, Lin Xiuyun, took her home. The two of them—one too poor to keep a cooking pot fed yet still adopting a child, the other too well-behaved to dare eat an extra bite—saved each other, and Lin Zhaozhao was lifted up by the entire village to walk out of the mountains. Twelve years later, Zhaozhao becomes the top scorer in the college entrance examination, and her biological parents actually kneel and beg to acknowledge her.
