Qiao Yue was framed by her master He Xiaoyao and junior sister Qiao Junya, falsely accused of destroying the other's spiritual root, and brutally had her own spiritual root dug out before being abandoned in a stone chamber. Having narrowly been reborn, she used the spiritual marrow of the stone bed to awaken her hidden spiritual root, cultivating the rare perfect five-element spiritual root, and entered the sect under Qing Yuan, the master of the Remnant Peak. Protecting Qiao Yue, Qing Yuan together with Bai Yu and Mu Li went to the main hall of Misty Peak to demand justice. Above the grand hall, Qiao Yue used a heavenly oath to prove her innocence, forcing Qiao Junya and He Xiaoyao to confess the truth. The crowd from Gathering Rosy Peak joined forces to pressure and plead, and weighing the situation, Qiao Yue chose not to pursue the matter further, yet publicly severed all past ties, completely drawing a clean line with He Xiaoyao and Qiao Junya's group, owing each other nothing from then on.
