The Remarkable Chen Xiulan - Season 1
Chen Xiulan has never married and has spent her life running a small noodle shop in the countryside, adopting four boys and one girl and raising them to adulthood. After her children leave home to work elsewhere, they compete to bring her to the city to enjoy a comfortable life. Unable to bear leaving her noodle shop and her neighbors behind, Chen Xiulan refuses to go. She confides her troubles to a scar-faced regular customer, an older man, but all she gets in return is a complicated look. What Chen Xiulan doesn't know is that each of her five children is a powerful figure capable of shaking the world. When her little noodle shop is forcibly demolished, her children can no longer sit still and rush back to their hometown. Everyone is left dumbfounded. This isn't a case of them doing poorly—have they turned the whole world upside down?
