Lin Yue travels through time to the Great Yan Dynasty, discovering rare chixuan iron ore beneath Bald Eagle Mountain using his clairvoyant golden finger. Publicly choosing three women convicted of serious crimes, he uses white clay burned on the mountain to create refractory materials, opens a porcelain kiln business, pays off his tax silver, and firmly establishes himself. Leading the three women, each with unique talents, to break through deadlocks, neutralize chamber of commerce suppression, and ultimately refine chixuan iron to forge divine weapons and flintlock rifles, he reforms the northern military equipment and is enfeoffed by the imperial court as the "Divine Work Peer." From a convicted commoner to a rising noble of the court, he completes his counter-attack and looks out at a broader world.
