The Minor County Magistrate of Great Ming: Number One in the World
Xia Ren time-traveled to the Great Ming and became a rank-seven minor local county magistrate. Seeing the people starving and the people's livelihood in shambles, he resolved to be a diligent and loving official, even frequently bypassing ranks to petition the Emperor. However, no one expected that in just five years, the silver he "embezzled" would actually reach tens of millions of taels! Yet oddly enough, the county he governed was not hollowed out at all; instead, its roads were wide, granaries burst with food, merchants gathered, and the people lived and worked in peace and contentment, truly looking like a pure land on earth.
