The Ming Dynasty's Number One Idler
Emergency physician Lu Yuan has traveled back in time to the Ming Dynasty for ten years. All he wants is to descend the mountain and live comfortably as a wealthy man, eating his fill and doing nothing. But the noblewoman he casually saves at a roadside tea stall turns out to be Empress Ma, while the hot-tempered burly man is none other than Zhu Yuanzhang. An ancestral jade pendant makes him the emperor's brother-in-law. The emperor forces him to attend court, but all he wants is to sleep. The entire imperial court waits for him to make a move, but all he wants is a bite of salt without an earthy taste. From turning poisonous salt into refined snow-white salt and saving Chang Yuchun's life to driving the Left Chancellor mad, this brother-in-law who only wants to take it easy becomes someone the entire Ming Dynasty cannot do without.
