The ancient divine beast Houhou disguises itself as an ordinary rabbit demon, serving as a security guard at the Monster Management Bureau for eight hundred years. The newly appointed Deputy Director Hu is dissatisfied with its lazy work style, forcibly pushing for performance appraisals and sending personnel to supervise. Although perfunctory on the surface, Houhou deters all kinds of demons and monsters with invisible coercion, maintaining order within the bureau. After experiencing a series of comical appraisal twists and turns, Houhou's true identity and past responsibilities gradually surface, ultimately returning to its mission of protecting all living beings under the intervention of the dragon clan.
