A space-time anomaly casts Wang Jiangong, who is well-versed in coastal defense strategy, into a chaotic era of smoke and fire. Facing the desperate situation of nearly being executed, he repels the enemy with his strategy, counterattacking from a death row prisoner to a camp defense instructor. Moving through various maritime frontlines, he deploys coastal defenses against raiders, trains personnel, roots out spies, and protects the common people of the land from slaughter. The road to defending the battlefield is long, and the return journey to his homeland is fraught with danger.
