Recently unemployed Shen Xu is struggling to make a living when he unexpectedly awakens the ability to travel freely between the modern world and an ancient-style alternate world. Ordinary everyday items found everywhere in the modern world are regarded as rare treasures from the immortals in the other world, while the precious spiritual herbs growing across its mountains are worth a fortune in the modern world. One day, with nothing more than a single popsicle, Shen Xu is mistaken by a beautiful woman from a prestigious family for an immortal descended from heaven. Rather than exploiting his newfound ability for luxury and easy gains, Shen Xu makes an honest living through the opportunities created by trade between the two worlds, resolves crises in the other world, and protects those around him. With the opportunities afforded by both worlds, he embarks on his own journey to turn his fortunes around.
