The Mute Bride's Desperate Counterattack
Born mute, Shen Ruoxi has endured mistreatment from the Chen family for three years of marriage. Her mother-in-law, Wang Mei, mistreats and bosses her around everywhere, while her husband, Chen Kai, blindly obeys his mother, disregards the family, and squanders money on pleasure outside. Her aunt from the countryside is her only relative, to whom she always hides her grievances. Eyeing the real estate left by her parents, the Chen family tries to trick her into adding their family member's names, and even brings Li Na to live in the house. After discovering the scheme and firmly refusing, Shen Ruoxi faces unprovoked blame from her in-laws once again. With a dead heart, she begins to endure and plot. Li Na, seeing the truth, feels guilty, and the two form an alliance to fight back against the Chen family together.
