Lin Chen, the heir to Hongyuan Group, conceals his identity and quietly hones his skills at the Jiangcheng branch while independently handling a major 50-million-yuan business deal. Zhao Qian, a parachuted-in nepotism hire, the branch's deputy general manager Sun Daqiang, and Manager Zhou repeatedly steal Lin Chen's proposals and withhold his performance earnings. At a business banquet, they pressure a client with a serious stomach condition to drink alcohol and eat seafood, causing him to collapse unconscious. They then publicly humiliate and fire Lin Chen. Having already collected comprehensive evidence of their fabricated expense accounts, embezzlement, and fraudulent dual contracts, Lin Chen exposes everything at a signing press conference. The group's chairman, Lin Tianxiao, personally arrives and reveals Lin Chen's true identity as the heir. Lin Chen takes over the branch and purges the company of its corrupt insiders.
